Michel NEY Awarded the 2026 URSI Medal

Michel NEY, Emeritus Professor in the Microwave Department at IMT Atlantique and a member of the Lab-STICC/SyPH/PIM team, will receive the CNFRS-URSI France Medal (ursi-france.org) on May 5th at the Institut Polytechnique de Paris, during the URSI-France Scientific Days (ursifr-2026.sciencesconf.org).

Awarded under the auspices of the Académie des sciences, the CNFRS-URSI France Medal honors a scientific figure who has made outstanding contributions to radio science and has played a key role in fostering scientific collaboration within the French and international communities.

This distinction recognizes Michel NEY’s innovative work on electromagnetic modeling applied to antennas and dosimetry, particularly his advancements in time-domain numerical methods such as the Transmission Line Matrix (TLM) method. It underscores the excellence of the research conducted within our laboratory.
