Interaction

The goal of the interaction pole is to provide knowledge and technologies that contribute to the improvement of interactions between users and systems. It focuses mainly on the sensorimotor aspect by addressing questions relative to immersion, embodiment or sensorimotor coupling. It is therefore a multidisciplinary pole. It is composed of three teams: the COMMEDIA team builds bridges between knowledge in psychology and computer science in order to improve the engagement provided by a system. The INUIT team focuses on immersive technological solutions and their evaluation to improve their naturalness while the RAMBO team deals with emerging techniques in machine learning to provide autonomous interactive systems.
