Professional experience
- From 2003: full professor at IMT-Atlantique (formerly Télécom Bretagne) in the Signal and Communication department, formerly associate professor (1995-2002).
- 1993-95: assistant professor at the Franco-Polish School of Telecommunications (Poznan, Poland), in charge of the signal processing activity
- 1990-92: PhD thesis at Télécom Paris: complete resolution of the trigonometric moment problem on an interval and application to array processing
- 1988-89: project engineer at Alcatel ATFH (Paris): project coordination for a 16QAM radio-link among Alcatel Laboratories and with Standard Electronic Lorentz (Germany)
Teaching activities
- Teaching in mathematics for engineering and machine learning
- Past and present teaching activities: probabilities, measure theory, random processes, stochastic differential equations, Monte Carlo techniques, statistical signal processing, linear and nonlinear filtering, numerical analysis, convex optimization, array processing, digital transmissions, Matlab/Python/Julia/C/Go scientific programming.

- Machine learning, statistical signal processing and digital communications
Recent activities
- Radar processing for airborne systems and driving aid: waveforms design, non-line of sight radar tracking in urban areas
- Underwater acoustics: active sonar processing (particle filtering for multi-target tracking and sea floor reconstruction) and passive acoustics (source depth discrimination, sparse propagating modes recovery)
- Networks: Markovian modelling of internet traffic via HMM modelling using HDP-HMM and non-parametric models, algebraic connectivity in graphs.
- Array processing: HF array antenna design via sparse optimization.
- Transmissions: chanel estimation for OTFS modulations.
Current PhD students. Currently, I am involved in the supervision of the following PhD students:
