Laura Ghisa obtained her master degree in electronics and her PhD in physics from the University of Rennes 1, in 2004 and 2008, respectively.
She was a postdoctoral researcher at the ENI of Brest between 2010 and 2012 and is currently an associate professor at the ENI of Brest.
Over the years she conducted research in optical micro resonators, semiconductor optical amplifiers and since 2012 she has been focusing on power-over-fiber systems and non-linear optical fiber propagation.
