An IEEE Member, he received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in 2016 and 2018, respectively, in Telecommunication, Networks, and Multimedia from the Telecommunication Department of the University of Sciences and Technology Houari Boumediene (USTHB), Algeria. Subsequently, he earned his Ph.D. in Multimedia and Digital Communications from the Electronics Department of Badji Mokhtar University of Annaba (UBMA) in Algeria in 2023 (2019-2023). During his Ph.D. studies, his primary research interests were focused on video/image coding and transmission over wireless networks with resource constraints. Currently, he works as a full-time postdoctoral researcher at the MEE Department of the high school of telecommunications IMT Atlantique, in Brest, France. He is actively involved in the CoLean project within the CODES team. His research efforts are dedicated to developing efficient source and channel coding methods to enhance learning at the receiver. These research endeavors include exploring learning over coded/compressed images and videos in their latent space.
